Bio 301 Frontiers in Biology

A 'reading-club' for onboarding graduate students in cellular, molecular, and organismal biology.  We discuss recent literature from different areas of biology. 

 

Bio 120 Microbial Systems Biology

To come in 2021
A dry-lab course investigating prokaryotic life. We cover major molecular, physiological, ecological, and evolutionary aspects shaping the growth-behavior of bacteria and their adaptation to native habitats.  Focus on gut-bacteria and the model-organism Escherichia coli. For undergradaute and graduate students in biology. Students from other disciplines are also welcome. More details soon.
